3.1 Information You Provide Voluntarily

5.4 Video Services: The Platform’s video-on-demand function is technically supported by Tencent Cloud, including video storage, transcoding, and content distribution services. When you use video-on-demand features, related data (including IP address, device information, and playback behavior) may be processed by Tencent Cloud. 6. Information Sharing

We will not sell your personal information except in the following cases:

  • （3）Disclosure in connection with a merger, reorganization, equity transaction, asset sale, or similar transaction to complete the deal;

  • （5）Other circumstances with your explicit consent.

7. Data Retention

7.1 We retain your information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

7.2 If you hold an account, have registered for events, submitted inquiries, posted comments, or maintain an ongoing business relationship, we may retain records for a reasonable period for compliance, evidence, support, dispute resolution, and security audits.

7.3 Certain data may be retained for tax, accounting, legal, or security purposes where permitted or required by law.

8. Data Security

8.1 We implement reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or destruction.

8.2 However, no internet transmission, electronic storage, or network environment is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of any system or transmission.

8.3 You are also responsible for safeguarding your passwords, devices, and login status.

As KPC LIVE may operate across multiple jurisdictions, your information may be transferred to and stored on servers, providers, or affiliated entities located outside your country or region.

Where required by applicable law, we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate protection for cross-border transfers. We may use standard contractual clauses, Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA), or other compliance mechanisms to ensure lawfulness and security.

10. Your Rights

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you may have the following rights:

  • （2）Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • （3）Request erasure of your personal information;
  • （4）Withdraw consent;
  • （5）Object to or restrict certain processing;
  • （6）Request export of a copy of data you have provided;
  • （7）Unsubscribe from marketing communications.

You may exercise these rights through account settings or by contacting our privacy team as set out in this policy. We will generally respond within 15 working days, subject to legal exceptions or reasonable extensions.

10.1 Account Cancellation and Data Deletion

You may request to cancel your account at any time by the following means:

  • （1）Within the app: “Settings → Account → Cancel Account”;
  • （2）By emailing official@kpclive.com, noting “Account Cancellation Request” along with your registered email or account.

After your account is canceled, we will:

  • （1）Stop using your personal information for marketing and personalized recommendations;
  • （2）Delete or anonymize your account information and related content within a reasonable period (normally no more than 30 days);
  • （3）However, the following data may continue to be retained in accordance with law: information necessary to handle existing disputes or enforce this agreement; and materials that must be retained under the Personal Data Protection Act of the Republic of China (Taiwan) or other applicable laws.

The aforementioned data to be retained will be deleted or anonymized after the statutory retention period expires.

11. Minors

The Platform is not intended for persons under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we discover such data has been collected by mistake, or identify users who do not meet the requirements through age verification, we will take measures such as deleting data, restricting processing, or terminating services in accordance with law.

12. Third-Party and Embedded Content

The Platform may embed content from YouTube, Instagram, X, Facebook, or other websites. Such third-party content may independently collect data, use cookies, or track your interactions. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third-party platforms.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party content or platforms. Your interactions with third parties are governed by their own privacy policies and terms of service.
